Terms and Conditions for the purchase of products and services from Wilson Wigs & Postiche, effective from 11/10/2021.
Introduction
Use of our services constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. Please ensure that you read these terms carefully and contact us if you have any questions. Check that the details set out in the ‘description of goods’ are complete and accurate before paying your deposit. If you think there is a mistake, please contact us to discuss this and confirm any changes to your order. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local citizen’s advice bureau. These terms do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.
Payment Terms
Any quotation for the goods shall not constitute an offer and shall be valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from its date of issue, unless we notify you in writing that we have withdrawn the quotation during this period.
Prices are quoted in UK pounds and must be paid in this currency.
Payment is required before the product is provided. For wigs and hairpieces, your payment to us of the deposit represents an offer by you to enter into a binding contract which we are free to accept or decline at our absolute discretion. If we are unable to supply you with goods, we will inform you of this in writing and return the deposit (less any expenses reasonably incurred by us as a result of processing your order).
These terms shall become binding on you and us when we issue you with confirmation of the details of your order which will specify the order number that we have assigned to your order, at which point a contract shall come into existence between us.
Any samples, drawings, or advertising we issue at any time (including during a consultation), are produced solely to provide you with an approximate idea of the goods they describe and should be regarded as indicative only. Although we have made every effort to display colours accurately, we cannot guarantee they will accurately reflect the colour of goods.
Any remaining payment will be paid before or upon collection of the product. If the product requires posting to the customer, payment will be taken before despatch.
To maximise security, Wilson Wigs & Postiche does not hold any credit/debit card details.
The Goods
Upon collection or delivery, the goods shall; conform in all material respects with the order confirmation, or fitting sheet when ordering in-house, be of satisfactory quality, be fit for any purpose we say the goods are fit for, be free from material defects in design, material and workmanship and comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to goods that are faulty or not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Office. Nothing in these Terms will affect these legal rights.
These terms do not apply to any defect in the goods arising from: wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, your use of the goods in a way that we do not recommend, your failure to follow our instructions (including any “care” information that we have provided you with) or any alteration or repair you carry out without our prior written approval.
These Terms apply to any repaired or replacement goods we supply to you in the event that the original goods are faulty or do not otherwise conform with the order confirmation.
For the avoidance of doubt, any provision of wig maintenance/repair shall be at an additional cost and is not included in the price of the goods.
Returns and Exchanges
We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. We are unable to refund or exchange any goods that comply with the details set out in the order confirmation, if it has been worn and/or the front lace has been cut. We are not responsible for any product that is sent to us for repair/alteration and lost in the mail. We highly recommend using a tracked service so that you can check the status of the delivery. When purchasing from our Ready to Buy Wig Collection, you have the right to return your wig within 14 days of delivery, with the option of choosing an alternative wig as replacement. This applies as long as it has not been worn and/or the front lace has been cut. All refund requests must be processed by e-mail and we will not cover the cost of the return postage.
Limitation of Liability
The contents of the Wilson Wigs & Postiche site, such as text, graphics, images and other material contained on the site are for informational purposes only. The content is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always seek advice from your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
Intellectual Property Rights
The site and all of its contents, features and functionality (including, but not limited to all text, displays, images, videos and design) are owned by Wilson Wigs & Postiche and are protected by intellectual property laws. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works of any material on our site.
Advertising Content
The site may present advertisements for or links to third party websites, products and/or services. We are not responsible for the availability of these Third Party Ads, or the images, messages or other materials contained therein. Neither Wilson Wigs & Postiche or any of its affiliates will be liable for any errors in content or omissions in any Third Party Ads, nor responsible for any losses or damages of any sort incurred as a result of your participation with, use of, or reliance on the Third Party Ads, including any products, goods or services offered by such Third Party Ads.
Data Protection
Wilson Wigs & Postiche shall implement and maintain reasonable procedures for protecting personal information in compliance with applicable law. We will only use the personal information you provide to us to provide the goods, process your payment for the goods, and to inform you about similar goods which we provide. We will not pass your data to third parties.
